2015 Ecology and Evolution of Infectious Disease
The 13th annual EEID conference will be held from May 26-29, 2015 at the Classic Center in Athens, Georgia. Hosting institutions include the University of Georgia, Emory University, and Georgia Tech.
This year’s conference will focus on four themes that highlight connections between infectious disease ecology and other fields:
- Dynamics of neglected tropical diseases
- Interface between EEID and the social sciences
- Within-host dynamics
- Macroecology of infectious diseases
We will also feature a special session on Ebola virus dynamics and control, and a lunch session on careers in disease ecology.
Abstract submission is now closed. Registration will remain open through May 7.
